Volunteering at the Creative Arts Center is a cross-cultural collaboration that builds local capacity and fosters long-term self-reliance. Work directly with our youth-led departments in Turkana West, Kenya.

Digital Journalism & Storytelling
Support young refugee journalists at Creative Arts TV as they learn to report, film, edit and share their community’s stories.
Digital Education
Teach practical computer and internet skills so young people can learn, work and create with technology.
Language Empowerment
Help learners build confidence in speaking, reading and writing, so they can share their ideas and take part in more opportunities.
Peacebuilding & Unity
Join dialogue forums and community events that bring people of different nationalities together through Nonviolent Communication.
Leadership Skills
Mentor young leaders in teamwork, public speaking and organizing, and help them lead projects in their own community.
